In this full-time, Phoenix-based Full Stack Laravel Developer, you'll be the primary developer on a proven, revenue-generating SaaS platform used by dentist offices nationwide. The product is stable and relied uponyour role is to make it better, more reliable, and easier to scale.
Early on, youll focus on maintenance: debugging payment issues, fixing webhook failures, and handling PMS integration quirks.
As you ramp up (1-2 months), youll take on feature development and eventually own key parts of the system.
Youll work directly with the founder/technical lead and collaborate with support to triage issues, create tickets, and prioritize work.
This is a small teamownership and self-direction are expected.

Salary range depending on experience 90K-125K+
What Youll Do- Debug and improve a live payment platform (transactions, webhooks, integrations)
- Build features end-to-end (database ? backend ? UI)
- Write tests (Pest PHP, integration-level)
- Partner with support to resolve customer issues
- Refactor and improve code quality and observability
- Manage deployments, queues, and system performance
- Use AI tools effectively with sound judgment
Background Profile:- 3+ years of Laravel experience in production environments using advanced concepts like events, queues, service providers, policies, broadcasting, and multi-tenancy patterns.
- Systems integration experience: building and maintaining connections between platforms via APIs, webhooks, WebSockets, and push notifications, including handling edge cases like retries, failures, and keeping data in sync across services
- Data management experience: working with large datasets, writing complex queries, and managing database migrations and environment-specific configurations without causing disruptions
- Hands-on experience with payment systems, payment processing, gateway, payfac or other high-stakes, high-volume integrations. You've personally gained 'battle scars' from past experiences that did not go as planned.
- AI orchestration, not just using tools, but proactively building agents and automations that improve your own workflow
- Experience with Vue, React, Svelte, and/or Inertia.js
- CI/CD and deployment experience
- AWS/Linux/DevOps exposure
- Testing discipline, especially with financial data
- Ability to independently debug, fix, and ship
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving mentality with a defensive programming mindset. You anticipate failure points, think through edge cases before they happen, and don't wait to be told how, you just take action.
