Full Stack JavaScript Developer
Summary
Our client is seeking a Full Stack JavaScript Developer to design, build, and support enterprise applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Oracle APEX, and SQL. This role combines hands-on development with requirements gathering, system integration, and daily use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js.
- Develop Oracle APEX applications, REST APIs, PL/SQL components, and SQL database solutions.
- Build integrations between applications, ERP systems, and enterprise platforms.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and workflows.
- Use Claude Code or similar AI tools daily for development, testing, documentation, and code review.
- Build automated tests and support CI/CD deployments using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide advanced application and integration support.
- Follow secure development practices and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of application development or similar experience.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with Oracle APEX, ORDS, PL/SQL, and SQL databases.
- Experience developing REST APIs and enterprise system integrations.
- Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business users.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code or a similar AI coding assistant.
- Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
Preferred
- ERP integration experience with Baan, IFS, or similar systems.
- Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud, n8n, Entra ID, or C# experience.
This is a 6-month Contract-For-Hire opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.
