Description
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java/Angular Engineer to support Ford Motor Company’s global mobile application deployment ecosystem. The role will focus on developing scalable self-service tools and automation using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, GCP, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and GitHub Actions. The engineer will help streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment efficiency for Android, iOS, Mac, and Chrome applications.
Work Authorization: US Citizens, Green Card Holders, and H-1B candidates on W2 only.
Work Location: Hybrid – 4 days onsite; local candidates preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and GCP.
- Build self-service developer portals and RESTful APIs.
- Design and maintain GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines for mobile application deployments.
- Support automated deployments to Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Chrome Web Store, and Intune.
- Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular.
- Build scalable backend services and integrate PostgreSQL databases.
- Perform testing, debugging, code reviews, and vulnerability remediation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with mobile development and business teams to improve release processes.
- Contribute to architecture decisions focused on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Translate business requirements into Jira user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support continuous improvement of CI/CD automation and developer self-service capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- 5+ years of experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
- 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience developing Android or iOS mobile applications.
- Strong experience building and maintaining web applications.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Git, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of application security, testing, debugging, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Experience with Jira, Agile/Scrum, and user story development is preferred.
- US Citizens, Green Card Holders, and H-1B candidates on W2 only.
