    Description

    The Role

We are seeking a highly capable, product-minded Full-Stack Engineer to take technical

ownership of a new production inventory-planning tool. We want a builder who is passionate

about crafting great products and translating complex data into clean, highly functional user

    interfaces.

In this role, you will leverage modern AI coding assistants to accelerate development—relying

on your deep engineering expertise to set the architecture, rigorously review all generated code,

and write robust solutions directly. This is a high-velocity, execution-focused position where you

will partner closely with the product owner to turn concepts into shipped, production-ready

    software.

    What You'll Do

Build Exceptional Products: Translate complex inventory workflows and data sets into

intuitive, highly functional user interfaces that solve real business problems.

Drive Technical Execution: Lead the day-to-day development of features, fixes, and

refactors based on the product roadmap, operating efficiently without needing fully

    exhaustive specifications.

Own the Architecture: Make the critical technical decisions regarding data modeling,

API design, frontend state management, and query performance.

Accelerate with AI: Utilize tools like Claude Code as a multiplier for your expertise. You

are the ultimate gatekeeper—catching edge cases, optimizing logic, and ensuring all

AI-generated code meets strict quality and security standards.

Manage Deployments: Coordinate BigQuery schema and pipeline changes, and

    manage deployments.

Provide Strategic Pushback: Act as a true technical partner by flagging risks,

highlighting tradeoffs, and advising on the best technical paths forward.

    Required Qualifications

5+ years of full-stack engineering experience: Strong proficiency with Python

backends, SQL, and modern JS/TS frontends with a sharp eye for functional UI and user

    experience.

Engineering Fundamentals: Strong Git-based workflow, disciplined code-review

practices, and a history of shipping production-grade systems.

AI-Assisted Development: Real-world production experience accelerating your

workflow with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.). You must be

capable of auditing and correcting AI-generated code at a professional engineering bar.

Cloud & Data Infrastructure: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery,

    and Service Accounts.

    Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience building with modern stacks (FastAPI, React, Vite, etc)

Basic understanding of data science and machine learning principles, particularly as they

apply to forecasting, analytics, or inventory systems.

Familiarity with inventory planning, supply chain, or MRP/DDMRP concepts—or the

ability to ramp up on them quickly.

Experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic or OpenAI SDKs) directly into application

backends (highly relevant for an upcoming chat-assistant feature).
