Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is responsible for developing user-centric software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving application performance, quality, and security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Rate Range: $55/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Full-Stack Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand business requirements, pain points, and use cases, translating them into scalable software solutions.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Angular, MongoDB, BigQuery, and Tekton while following Agile development practices.

  • Create and implement software architecture, APIs, and microservices, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, Designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software products.

  • Define and execute testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure code quality and successful deployments.

  • Continuously optimize application performance, enhance security measures, and evaluate emerging technologies to improve development efficiency and user experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of overall IT experience, including 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.

  • Strong expertise in Java, Angular, MongoDB, and modern software development practices, including Agile, CI/CD, and test-driven development.

  • Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications, APIs, and microservices while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
