Full Stack Developer

Introduction

We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality, and deploying software to meet customer requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Strong full-stack development experience with Python and modern front-end frameworks (Angular or React).
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, SCSS, and building responsive web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI.
• Strong SQL skills with experience designing and optimizing relational databases.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GCS, Cloud Run, and Apigee.
• Proficiency with GitHub, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of web and networking concepts, including HTTP/S, DNS, APIs, load balancing, and security.
• Experience with RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Experience with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Expert Systems.
• Experience with additional programming languages.
• Advanced degree in a related field.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering software using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile), and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product owners, designers, architects, etc.
• Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies, and processes.
• Continuously improve performance and optimize the application, implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces.
• Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver solutions.
