We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper, someone with accounting experience within the construction or similar industry to manage accounting functions and financial reporting.

Position: Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Compensation: $57,000 - $60,000

Works Schedule: Monday through Friday

Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm

Location: In office

Position overview:

  • Maintaining a complete and accurate set of financial records for the company
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing, general ledger entries, and daily reconciliations
  • Prevailing wage
  • Prepare deposits, electronic check deposits, credit card deposits, and physical check deposits
  • Collections on accounts receivable
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including payroll taxes and other regulatory requirements
  • Recording financial transactions, reconciling payments and adjustments, and preparing monthly financial statements
  • Oversee the processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled in QuickBooks desktop
  • Working closely with the Owner to support financial planning, budgeting, and alignment with company goals
  • Daily working in QuickBooks desktop and Field Edge our cloud-based CRM
  • Supporting other office duties including answering the phone

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Bookkeeping, financial management, or accounting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Customer Service
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical, detailed oriented, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in the Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, or similar industry - desired
  • Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field - desired

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
