About the Role
We are a growing composite manufacturing company seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is central to maintaining the financial health of our operations and will work closely with ownership on day-to-day accounting, payroll, and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting activity in QuickBooks Online, including AP/AR, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and chart of accounts maintenance
• Process weekly payroll and ensure compliance with federal and Florida state payroll regulations, including garnishment administration
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements and variance reports for ownership review
• Manage expense coding across multiple G/L accounts and cost centers
• Support annual tax preparation by coordinating with outside CPA; maintain organized records throughout the year

Key Experience and Skillsets

• 5+ years in full-cycle accounting
• 2+ years closing the books independently
• Strong QBO knowledge, general accounting, Excel, and job-costing experience.
