    Peach State Hardwood is a growing flooring company serving the Metro Atlanta area. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and dependable Full-Charge Bookkeeper & Accounting Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration.

    This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable managing both money coming into the company and money going out. We need someone who can stay organized, communicate well with vendors and customers, and make sure our books are accurate and up to date.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
    • Enter and pay vendor bills
    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • Follow up with customers regarding deposits, outstanding balances, and final payments
    • Process and record customer payments
    • Run or coordinate company payroll
    • Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
    • Maintain vendor accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
    • Track company expenses and properly categorize transactions
    • Assist with employee reimbursements and payroll-related deductions
    • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks
    • Help prepare monthly financial reports
    • Assist with month-end and year-end bookkeeping
    • Work directly with ownership and the company's CPA/accountant
    • Maintain organized financial documentation and records
    • Help improve accounting procedures as the company continues to grow

    What We're Looking For

    • Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
    • Strong QuickBooks experience
    • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • Experience with payroll
    • Comfortable contacting customers regarding outstanding payments
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Highly organized and dependable
    • Good communication and customer-service skills
    • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
    • Comfortable working in a fast-moving small-business environment

    Experience in construction, home services, flooring, or a similar industry is a plus but not required.
