Stop & Go Stores is seeking a skilled and motivated Fuel Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Gilbarco and/or Wayne fuel dispensing systems and a strong understanding of fuel station equipment maintenance and repair. Key Responsibilities: - Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of fuel dispensers, pumps, and underground storage systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Gilbarco and Wayne systems, including POS interfaces and tank monitoring systems.
- Conduct. routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system updates.
- Collaborate with store managers and vendors to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.
Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience servicing fuel station equipment, with a focus on Gilbarco and/or Wayne systems.
- Familiarity with Veeder-Root tank monitoring systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications: - Gilbarco and/or Wayne factory training certifications.
- OSHA or other safety training credentials.
