    As a Steward, you play an essential role in supporting our Dining Services team by ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment. Your work helps ensure smooth meal service and upholds high standards of cleanliness for our residents and team members.

    What You Will Do

    • Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment

    • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dish room areas, including floors, walls, and trash receptacles

    • Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed

    • Remove trash, recyclables, and compost according to procedures

    • Follow safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards in accordance with health regulations

    • Support culinary and dining staff to ensure smooth and timely meal service

    • Restock supplies and assist with organization of kitchen areas

    • Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly

    • Interact with residents, staff, and visitors with courtesy and professionalism

    • Perform additional steward or kitchen support duties as assigned

    What You Bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    • Previous dishwashing, steward, or kitchen experience preferred but not required

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

    • Strong work ethic with attention to cleanliness and detail

    • Dependable, respectful, and service-oriented attitude

    • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
