Job Description:

Correctional Healthcare Partners (CHP) is seeking a licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMFT/LCSW) to provide clinical mental health services to justice-involved youth across CHP Youth Transition Campus facilities. Fully licensed clinicians are preferred; associate-level clinicians (AMFT/ASW) will be considered.

Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Health Services Administrator (HSA) and/or Mental Health Program Director, the Mental Health Clinician provides individual, group, and crisis mental health services to a youth and/or incarcerated population caseload.

Hours: This role will involve 1 weekend day as part of standard schedule. Hours are 11-9 or 12-10

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy services to a youth and/or incarcerated population caseload
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient behaviors, symptoms, and clinical progress
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care upon release or transfer
  • Respond to crisis situations and provide triage support as clinical needs fluctuate
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

Position Requirements:

  • Fully licensed LMFT or LCSW strongly preferred; associate-level licensure (AMFT/ASW) will be considered
  • Minimum 2 years of post-licensure experience for fully licensed candidates
  • Correctional healthcare background and experience working with youth strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in either setting is a plus

  • Compensation: $35–$60/hour
