PRIMARY PURPOSE

Temporary Seasonal Hires for all departmentsAssist Hannaford To Go Supervisor in leading the Hannaford to Go Team - Service in maintaining department

operations to meet financial and sales goals. Build associate and customer relations and promote a strong

culture in support of the Hannaford Strategy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the Hannaford To Go Department operations in accordance with established department

standard practices, in the absence of the Hannaford To Go Supervisor.

• Support excellent customer service and goodwill by role modeling and providing high standards in

customer service and sales building.

• Support that department conditions involving appearance, safety, sanitation, and food safety are

maintained at the highest level.

• Use good judgement in the delegation, assignment, and follow up required for the efficient

performance of the department.

• Provide real time teaching on Shopping or Expediting process issues.
• Reports any issues or concerns relative to associate performance or behavior to the Assistant Store

Manager.

• Assist in training and developing associates to meet department needs.
• Maintain solid communication in the department and with store management.
• Observe and follow all company policies, established standard practices and legal requirements.
• Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Retail customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Understanding of store operations preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service and selling skills.
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Perform repetitive hand and arm motions.
• Stand or walk 100% of the time.
• Continuous fine finger motions such as pinching, grasping when handling money.
• Bend and lift products weighing up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds

on occasion.

• Push or pull up to 75 pounds on occasion.
• Be able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials, packaging materials, fresh

fruits, vegetables, house plants/flowers and household cleaners.

• Have sufficient visual acuity to read the HH unit display screen as well as check identification cards,

checks, invoices, and other written documents.

• Work in and out of inclement weather when necessary.
• Gather up to 5 shopping carts and push them to designated area.
• Ability to use computers, calculators and communication systems required to perform all job functions.

Salary range is between $ 17.35 - $24.75 Hrly
