This role supports store operations by managing the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager, supervising associates, and ensuring excellent customer service.

• Assist with daily labor management, coaching associates to meet productivity goals.

• Control expenses through proper ordering and equipment care, and utilize company tools like financial reports and inventory systems.

• Maintain department appearance, food safety, sanitation, and compliance with regulations.

• Monitor inventory and shrink, coaching associates to prevent losses.

• Ensure adherence to safety, security, and company policies, and complete required training.

• Perform other duties as assigned, meeting physical requirements and maintaining professional appearance.
