About the Role: Indis Fast Food Restaurant in Jeffersonville, IN is looking for a motivated and reliable Fry Cook to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor deep fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Prepare and cook menu items to order according to Indis' quality and timing standards
Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety and handling procedures
Keep the fry station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift
Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth, timely order fulfillment
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory as needed
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
Requirements:
Prior experience as a fry cook, line cook, or in a fast food kitchen is a plus but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices preferred
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
