    Description

    We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to lead the development of high-quality, modern web applications. You'll collaborate closely with the UX team to translate Figma designs into functional yet intuitive interfaces. You'll also be a key contributor to the definition of frontend architecture and design systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of responsive, scalable, frontend applications. Prefer experience with React and Material UI.
    • Partner with UX designers to iterate on Figma designs, turning ideas into production-ready features
    • Build a reusable component library and design system from scratch, managing its evolution over time
    • Use Generative AI tools to streamline development workflows for prototyping, Figma-to-code conversions, and scaffolding components.
    • Guide frontend architecture decisions and establish and adhere to engineering best practices
    • Collaborate with backend teams to deliver full-stack solutions
    • Mentor frontend engineers for a high-performance, collaborative culture

    Core Requirements:

    • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with emphasis on frontend development
    • Success leading frontend teams and managing large-scale UI projects
    • Deep expertise in the core toolset; React, Material UI, and modern TypeScript
    • Strong experience with Figma and UX teams in an iterative design process
    • Experience building design systems and component libraries
    • Hands-on experience using GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer, and Figma) for prototyping and design-to-code workflows
    • Ability to use Go and Python to work across the stack and collaborate with backend teams
    • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to design detail and passion for delivering unforgettable user experiences.

    Nice to Have:

    • Familiarity with accessibility and performance best practices
    • Experience with AWS
    • Experience with frontend tooling and CI/CD pipelines
    • Experience developing apps using a micro-frontend architecture
    • Contributions to open-source or public projects
    • Prior experience in a high energy, product-led environment
