Responsibilities:- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the provider's calendar efficiently
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
- Maintain and update accurate patient records in the EMR/EHR system
- Manage patient check-out process, including scheduling follow-up appointments
- Handle medical office administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and correspondence
Requirements:- Prior front office or dermatology medical receptionist experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and billing processes
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR software and general computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare training a plus
