About the Role:
Neurosurgical Associates in Valencia, CA is looking for a motivated and personable Front Office team member to be the welcoming face of our practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialized medical team where your organizational skills and patient-first attitude truly make a difference every day.



Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and compassionate manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and demographic information
• Coordinate referrals and authorizations with insurance providers
• Ensure the front office and waiting area remain organized and welcoming

Requirements:

• Prior front office or medical receptionist experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology, EMR/EHR systems, and insurance verification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• Professional, reliable, and a strong team player
