Front of House Team Member Responsibilities
Front of House Team Members work in a variety of positions throughout the restaurant and Drive Thru. You should be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors while providing fast, accurate, and genuinely caring service.
Responsibilities may include:
- Welcome guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude
- Create and maintain appropriate eye contact
- Speak clearly and enthusiastically
- Make meaningful connections with guests
- Take guest orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate registers and process guest payments
- Participate in Drive Thru operations, including outdoor order taking, payment processing, and serving guests
- Work outdoors as assigned while maintaining Chick-fil-A service standards
- Prepare, organize, and run curbside/mobile orders to guests' vehicles
- Assemble and deliver dine-in and carry-out orders accurately
- Confirm orders and ensure guests receive all requested items
- Work with urgency while maintaining accuracy, quality, and hospitality
- Keep Front of House, Drive Thru, and guest-facing areas clean, stocked, and organized
- Communicate effectively with guests, Team Members, and Restaurant Leaders
- Support fellow Team Members and contribute to a strong team environment
- Honor and encourage others to live out the Restaurant's vision and values
- Adapt quickly between different Front of House positions and responsibilities
- Follow Chick-fil-A standards, Restaurant policies, food-safety procedures, and dress and grooming expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Team Members must be able and willing to:
- Stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
- Regularly lift and carry approximately 30–50 pounds
- Move quickly and safely throughout the restaurant and parking lot
- Perform Drive Thru and curbside responsibilities outdoors
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and light rain, while following Restaurant safety procedures
- Perform the physical responsibilities associated with a fast-paced restaurant environment
