Front of House Shift Manager

At Chick-fil-A Kissimmee, we are looking for an experienced Chick-fil-A leader who is passionate about hospitality, developing people, and creating an exceptional guest experience.

The Front of House Shift Manager is responsible for leading restaurant operations during assigned shifts, coaching Team Members, maintaining strong service standards, and ensuring the team delivers fast, accurate, and genuinely caring hospitality.

Important Chick-fil-A Experience Requirement

To be considered for this position, candidates must currently be serving as a Shift Manager at a Chick-fil-A restaurant or have previous Chick-fil-A Shift Manager experience.

Because this role requires immediate leadership of Chick-fil-A operations, hospitality standards, and Team Members, previous Chick-fil-A Shift Manager experience is required.

Applicants without Chick-fil-A Shift Manager experience will not be considered for this position.

Position Overview

The Front of House Shift Manager leads by example and sets the tone for the guest experience.

This leader is responsible for running successful shifts, positioning the team effectively, coaching hospitality behaviors, maintaining speed and accuracy, and creating a positive environment for both guests and Team Members.

A successful Shift Manager should be highly visible, engaged, and willing to step into any position needed to support the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Front of House operations during assigned shifts
  • Position Team Members effectively based on business needs
  • Ensure guests receive fast, accurate, and exceptional service
  • Coach Team Members in Chick-fil-A hospitality standards
  • Maintain strong communication throughout the shift
  • Monitor speed of service, order accuracy, cleanliness, and guest experience
  • Address operational issues quickly and professionally
  • Support Team Leaders and Team Members through coaching and feedback
  • Help develop future leaders
  • Maintain strong organization and cleanliness throughout Front of House
  • Partner with Back of House leadership to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Create a positive, energetic, and accountable shift environment

The Front of House Shift Manager must consistently model the hospitality behaviors expected from the team.

Qualifications

  • Current or previous Chick-fil-A Shift Manager experience required
  • Strong understanding of Chick-fil-A Front of House operations
  • Proven experience leading a restaurant shift
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Naturally friendly, outgoing, and hospitality-focused
  • Ability to coach, develop, and hold others accountable
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

Full-time position

Candidates must have strong availability Monday through Saturday, including a combination of opening, closing, and peak-period shifts as needed.

Chick-fil-A restaurants are closed on Sundays.
