    About the job

You lead the front of the house on your shift. You run the counter, to-go and catering packing team, keep orders accurate and on time, and are the first person to handle a customer or driver problem. This is a hands-on lead role: you work the counter and the pack line alongside the team and answer to the owner.

    What you'll do

    • Lead each shift: assign counter, phone and packing stations, and keep the lunch and dinner rush moving.
    • Check that every to-go and catering order is correct, hot, labeled and on time before it goes to the customer or driver.
    • Fix customer and delivery problems (wrong or missing items, late orders) and decide when to remedy and when to call the owner.
    • Train new team members on the POS (we use Toast), order accuracy and packing standards.
    • Open or close the front of house: cash drawer, counts, cleaning checklist, restocking.
    • Keep the counter, drink and pickup areas clean and follow food-safety rules.
    • Pass along schedule needs, call-outs and supply shortages to the owner.

    Required

    • Available for lunch, dinner and weekend shifts as scheduled, including the lunch rush.
    • Able to work as a lead on shift and direct a small team of 2 to 5 people.
    • Comfortable learning a POS and phone ordering (Toast training provided).
    • Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 30 lb.
    • Reliable transportation; live within about a 40-minute drive of Dunwoody.
    • Legally authorized to work in the US.

Preferred: 1 year or more leading or training a team in a restaurant, cafe, retail or catering setting; cashier or Toast experience; Chinese or Spanish language skills are a plus but not required (job-related, customer communication).
