Role Summary


The FOH Manager oversees daily front-of-house operations to ensure outstanding guest experiences, efficient service, and a positive team culture. This role supervises hosts, servers, and bartenders, manages shifts, and supports restaurant leadership with staffing, training, and guest relations.



Key Responsibilities


- Lead and coach FOH team members; hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff


- Ensure consistently high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation


- Manage reservations, seating flow, waitlist, and peak service periods


- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution professionally


- Monitor FOH inventory (linen, supplies, POS supplies) and place orders as needed


- Work with Kitchen and Bar leadership to coordinate service and menu rollouts


- Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards


- Track daily sales, labor, and key performance metrics; support payroll and cash handling procedures


- Assist with events, private dining, and special promotions



Required Qualifications


- 2+ years FOH supervisory/manager experience in a fast-casual or full-service restaurant


- Strong leadership and communication skills; proven team development ability


- Experience with POS systems, reservations platforms, and basic scheduling tools


- Excellent guest-service and conflict-resolution skills


- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends


- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification a plus



Preferred Qualifications


- Prior experience managing labor 


- Knowledge of local health codes and compliance


- Experience with inventory ordering and vendor relations
