    We are seeking a service-focused Front of House Dining Assistant Manager to help lead daily front-of-house restaurant operations in a resident-centered environment. This full-time role supports high-quality dining experiences through team leadership, staff training, scheduling, safety and sanitation oversight, and excellent resident service.

    What You'll Do

    • Support the planning, organization, training, and leadership of daily dining operations.
    • Help achieve goals related to resident satisfaction, service quality, food quality, cleanliness, staffing, costs, and employee retention.
    • Ensure every resident receives welcoming, responsive, courteous, and professional service.
    • Train, coach, and develop servers and other front-of-house team members; lead required training and in-service sessions.
    • Serve as a positive role model and maintain a productive, respectful work environment.
    • Assist with employee hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions in accordance with leadership guidelines and company policy.
    • Create staff schedules based on anticipated business needs while maintaining appropriate staffing levels and labor-cost objectives.
    • Monitor compliance with restaurant policies, operating procedures, standards, specifications, and training programs.
    • Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, county, and local health, safety, labor, and sanitation requirements.
    • Oversee cash handling, receipts, reconciliations, and POS procedures in accordance with company policy.
    • Complete required reports, forms, schedules, and other administrative paperwork accurately and on time.
    • Inspect dining areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and proper working condition.
    • Support preventive-maintenance procedures and report equipment concerns promptly.
    • Ensure employee performance evaluations are completed accurately and on schedule.
    • Step into operational roles as needed to maintain service standards and efficient daily operations.
    • Provide operational input and support to the Assistant General Manager, General Manager of Dining, and Director of Culinary.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
    • At least 3 years of front-of-house restaurant operations, supervisory, or assistant manager experience.
    • Must be at least 21 years old.
    • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service and front-of-house operations.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, guests, and team members.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
    • Basic math skills and experience using a cash register and/or POS system.
    • ServSafe and TIPS certifications are preferred but not required.
