Because our digital storefronts play a critical role in the consumer journey, we are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking Shopify Web Developer to elevate our digital presence and drive the technical evolution of our brand portfolio. Essential Duties/Responsibilities - Develop, customize, and maintain responsive, mobile-first Shopify storefronts across 9 brand sites.
- Update brand sites to Shopify 2.0 Theme’s
- Write custom Liquid templates, sections, and blocks. Implement modern JavaScript/CSS animations and interactive elements to elevate digital brand experience
- Build, test, and deploy front-end features, landing pages, and A/B test variations designed to improve user engagement and conversion rates
- Optimize web assets and audit front-end code to ensure maximum page-load speeds, excellent Core Web Vitals, and strong SEO, GEO and AEO foundations
- Lead innovation by staying ahead of UI/UX trends and proactively recommending improvements to our tech stack and processes
- Works closely with internal IT Team and external partners to ensure functionality
- Works closely with Brand and Creative Teams to enhance customer experience
Qualifications & Requirements - 3+ years of professional front-end web development experience, with a proven track record of building and customizing Shopify storefronts
- Experience in HTML5, CSS3/SAAS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong proficiency in Liquid and schema architecture
- Familiarity with GitHub and Shopify CLI for proper deployment
- Solid understanding of responsive web design practices and mobile-first development paradigms
- Familiarity with performance optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA), and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with GA4 and GTM.
- A keen eye for design aesthetics, excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A strong portfolio demonstrating live Shopify web pages, interactive front-end components, and responsive layout implementations
