Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 9+ years of software engineering experience, including enterprise application design and development.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, including designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• 7+ years of experience with React and modern front-end architectures, including component-based design and state management frameworks.
• Strong experience with Node.js, RESTful APIs, API gateways, and event-driven architectures.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure services including Storage, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Cognitive Services, and containerized platforms.
• Experience integrating AI/ML platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Azure AI Speech, Document Intelligence, Computer Vision, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, distributed systems, scalability, resiliency, and high-availability design.
• Experience designing secure applications, authentication and authorization frameworks, identity management, and data protection strategies.
• Expertise in modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, observability, and DevSecOps.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and influence architecture decisions across multiple teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage developers, architects, product managers, business analysts, QA teams, and executive leadership.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to design innovative and efficient solutions.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to balance strategic architectural thinking with hands-on technical execution.
Preferred:
• Experience building solutions involving audio, video, image processing, and media streaming platforms.
• Experience with WebSockets, event streaming, Kafka, Azure Event Hub, or real-time communication frameworks.
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or other Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools.
• Experience designing AI-powered enterprise solutions and Generative AI applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, and cloud-native platform engineering.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, messaging platforms, and API management solutions.
• Experience working in highly regulated, public safety, healthcare, financial, or government environments.
• Prior experience serving as a Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or Principal Engineer.
