We are looking for a highly talented individual to join a small team dedicated to creating a new social service that will move the world. The successful candidate will be passionate about best software engineering practices, and have significant experience in all stages of the product development cycle.
Contribute to the overall user experience (UX) design of the product. Implement a web user interface according to UX design team specifications that will perform well for multiple browsers on multiple platforms. Re-implement the UI from the ground up as native apps for multiple platforms including iOS and Android based platforms. Work on small scale design of user interface elements, coding, debugging, code analysis, and in-depth interaction with user experience, user interface, and server teams.
Requirements:
Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a Software Engineer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
1) 3 years of experience on front end development and working with web technologies;
2) 2 years of experience developing HTML5 web applications;
3) 2 years of experience with JavaScript and HTML including cross browser support;
4) 2 years of experience with HTTP, XML, Java, SQL and general Web 2.0 technologies;
5) 2 years of experience with C++; 6) 2 years of experience with Semantic and responsive web development;
7) 1 year of experience with Browser based custom caching and asset caching in mobile devices using JavaScript and offline application development using browser’s default SQLite;
8) Unit testing, end to end testing and functional testing; and
9) Hybrid development including iOS, Android, Win8 and web deployment.
