At Sea Fox Boat Company, we're passionate about building premium fishing boats that deliver exceptional performance, quality, and craftsmanship. We're looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our Front Door Team and play a key role in putting the finishing touches on every boat before it reaches our customers.
As a Front Door Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring every boat meets Sea Fox's high standards of quality and appearance before moving to the final detailing process.
Install and complete kits, including decals, safety information, windscreens, and related components.
Perform final fit-and-finish work on completed boats.
Conduct thorough self-inspections before Quality Control review.
Complete assigned items from Quality Control checklists.
Collaborate with supervisors, team leads, and other departments to ensure all required work is completed.
Communicate regularly with Quality Control inspectors to ensure a complete, high-quality product advances through production.
Maintain productivity while meeting daily and weekly production goals.
Keep tools, equipment, and workstations clean, organized, and in excellent condition.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Assist with training and mentoring team members as needed.
Passion for boating and the marine industry.
Knowledge of boat manufacturing processes is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Familiarity with shipping and transportation processes is preferred.
Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing, marine, assembly, or production experience.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the manufacturing facility and shipping yard for extended periods.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
