Job Title: Front Desk Reception & Kennel Technician

Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Front Desk Reception & Kennel Technician. This role is a blend of customer-facing responsibilities and hands-on animal care. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent care to both pets and their owners.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk Reception Duties:
- Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Schedule appointments, check pets in/out for boarding, daycare, grooming, and training services.
- Process payments, maintain accurate client records, and manage reservations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners about their pet’s needs, progress, and care.
- Handle questions, concerns, and complaints with patience and professionalism.
Kennel Technician Duties:
- Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, watering, cleaning kennels, and monitoring overall health.
- Exercise and supervise dogs during playtime and outdoor breaks.
- Administer medications and special diets as directed.
- Keep the facility clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
- Monitor animal behavior and report any health or behavioral concerns to management.
- Assist with baths, grooming, and training sessions as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or animal care preferred, but not required (willing to train the right person).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate toward animals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Weekends and Holidays required
- 20-25 hours per week
