    About the Role

    As Front Desk Manager, you'll run day-to-day front office operations and make sure every guest gets a smooth check-in, a comfortable stay, and a friendly check-out. You'll hire, train, schedule, and coach the front desk team, handle guest issues, and work closely with the General Manager and housekeeping to keep the property running well.


    What You'll Do

    • Lead, train, schedule, and supervise front desk agents and night auditors
    • Oversee check-in, check-out, reservations, and room assignments
    • Resolve guest complaints quickly and professionally
    • Manage room inventory, rates, and online travel agency (OTA) listings to support occupancy and revenue goals
    • Review night audit reports, cash handling, deposits, and daily balancing
    • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance on room status and guest requests
    • Monitor and respond to online guest reviews
    • Enforce hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards
    • Cover front desk shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays


    What We're Looking For

    • 2+ years of front desk or guest services experience in a hotel or motel
    • 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
    • Experience with a property management system (PMS) such as Hotel Effectiveness, or similar
    • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Comfortable with cash handling and basic financial reporting
    • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree a plus
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
