Responsibilities:
  • Manage front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient check-in and check-out process.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for multiple ophthalmologists.
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance information.
  • Assist in managing office supplies and inventory for the front desk.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance patient experience and streamline operations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
