Are you a bilingual (Korean and English) medical front desk professional with a passion for healthcare? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you can make a difference every day? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a Front Desk/Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic, diverse team. This role is critical to our mission of providing world-class healthcare services to our patients with the highest level of customer service. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

As a Front Desk/Medical Receptionist, your day-to-day tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • Greeting and assisting patients, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors.
  • Answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow.
  • Handling patient inquiries and concerns in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner.
  • Processing patient billing and insurance claims, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assisting in the coordination of patient care, including liaising with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Translating for Korean-speaking patients and their families, ensuring they understand their healthcare options and treatment plans.
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities, including training and development programs, to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a medical front desk professional or in a similar role.
  • Fluent in Korean and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including medical terminology and insurance processes.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including medical software, Microsoft Office Suite, and email.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical Receptionist or in a related field is a plus.
  • Must be able to respect and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
