Front Desk/Field Home Health Aide (HHA)
Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile and proactive professional to join our office team. In this dual-role position, you will serve as the face of our agency and a vital coordinator for our daily operations. You will ensure a high-quality experience for clients and staff by managing front-desk operations and providing critical backup support for our Field Staff as a Home Health Aide.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact and face of the office, providing a welcoming and professional experience for clients, caregivers, and visitors.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Assist with scheduling client visits, caregiver assignments, and appointments.
- Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and office staff regarding schedule changes and service needs.
- Maintain accurate client and employee records and ensure documentation is complete and organized.
- Assist with intake paperwork, data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Monitor and respond to office emails, messages, and inquiries.
- Help coordinate daily office operations to ensure an efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
- Assist management with special projects and perform other duties as needed to support the agency's operations.
Field Home Health Aide Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers, walking, and positioning.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping duties.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisory staff.
- Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
- Document services provided accurately and submit required reports on time.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and confidentiality guidelines.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- One year experience as a HHA or a CNA
Previous experience in an office setting or administrative role is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in multi-line phone systems and basic computer software.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
Ability to commit to 40 hours per week within standard office hours 8am to 4:30pm
