About the Role:

The Learning Experience #427 in Houston, TX is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Clerk to be the welcoming face of our center! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that is passionate about early childhood education and making a difference in the lives of families every day.

Responsibilities:

• Greet families, children, and visitors warmly upon arrival and departure
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner
• Manage student check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and organize front desk records, enrollment paperwork, and administrative files
• Support center directors and staff with scheduling, communications, and daily operations
• Handle tuition payments, receipts, and basic billing transactions
• Ensure the front lobby and reception area remain clean, organized, and welcoming

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, child-centered environment
• Warm, professional demeanor with a passion for working around children and families
• Must pass required background checks per state childcare regulations

Compensation: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
