Job Details

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Bilingual (Armenian/English) Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing healthcare team. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients, creating a welcoming and professional experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our busy medical office.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and has excellent communication and organizational skills. You will work closely with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to provide exceptional customer service and ensure patients receive a seamless experience from check-in through check-out.

Responsibilities
Welcome and check in patients while providing outstanding customer service.
Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries in both Armenian and English.
Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation.
Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments accurately.
Register new patients and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
Coordinate patient flow by communicating effectively with providers and clinical staff.
Assist with appointment confirmations, referrals, and medical record requests as needed.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
Handle administrative tasks including scanning, filing, faxing, and managing incoming correspondence.
Communicate fluently with Armenian-speaking patients and families to ensure they fully understand scheduling, paperwork, and office procedures.
Support the office team with additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications
2+ years of front desk, medical reception, or healthcare administrative experience preferred.
Fluency in Armenian and English (spoken and written) is required.
Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting strongly preferred.
Experience with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment.
Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and fellow administrative team members.
