Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Handle reservations, room assignments, and payment transactions
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information
  • Answer phone calls and assist with general hotel information
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure a smooth operation

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous when handling challenging situations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Skills

  • Hospitality or hotel front desk experience
  • Cash handling and payment processing experience
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
