The role for Front Desk Associate is called a Mood Lifter. Mood Lifters are the people who greet each of our members with ear-to-ear smiles and over the top enthusiasm. They consistently go above and beyond, and you can’t help but smile when you see them.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Greet every member and guest with enthusiasm and a smile
- Tour potential members around the club to sign up for a membership
- Answer phone calls in a professional and energetic manner
- Execute all opening/closing operational procedures to ensure the club runs smoothly
- Handle member requests and concerns with professionalism and a sense of urgency
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Maintenance duties up to par.
- 30-minute sweeps around the club: re-racking weights and organizing all areas
- Reaching individual sales goals weekly
- Scheduling personal training sessions on a goal basis
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and personable
- Sales Experience 1-2 years +
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to lift and move gym equipment weighing 15-20 lbs frequently and up to 90 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand for more than 5 hours
- World-class customer service and administrative skills
- Works hard, multi-tasks, and is a problem solver
- Passion for fitness
