Work directly with contractors and homeowners, help them find the right materials, and keep every day moving in a hands-on Seaside location.
SALARY: $18.00$20.00 per hour
LOCATION: SEASIDE, OR
SCHEDULE: Full-Time, MondayFriday, 40 hours per week. Eight-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Assist customers with product questions, pricing, availability, returns, and project needs.
Prepare material estimates and quotes for smaller residential projects, including decks, fences, sheds, and stairs.
Enter customer orders accurately, coordinate deliveries, and follow through on order details.
Recommend appropriate products and additional materials based on each customers project.
Support inventory, merchandising, stocking, and safe, organized yard and store operations.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 6 months of sales, retail, customer service, or related experience.
Building-materials, construction, hardware, home-improvement, or estimating experience preferred.
Ability to learn product knowledge, pricing, order-entry systems, and material estimates.
Previous material-handling equipment experience, or willingness to complete equipment training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position requires work in both office and outdoor yard environments, including varying weather conditions. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; regularly lift up to 25 - 50 pounds; and bend, kneel, reach, and perform general physical tasks throughout the shift. Position may include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, and related equipment following training.
