Job Title: Freight Payables Clerk

Pay: $18.00-$22.00/hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday-Froday, 8am-5pm
Duration: Temporary to Possible Hire
JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Process carrier invoices and issue payments accurately and on time
*Review and verify load documents (BOLs, PODs, rate confirmations)
*Enter and reconcile billing/payment data in internal systems
*Audit charges, including accessorials (detention, lumper, FSC)
*Match paperwork to loads and submit for broker approval
*Follow up with carriers for missing documents or discrepancies
*Communicate with brokers and internal teams to resolve issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*High school diploma required
*2+ years of freight payables or brokerage experience required
*Strong understanding of carrier payments and load documentation
*High attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume work
*Proficient with Excel and transportation/accounting systems (TMS preferred)
*Strong communication and problem-solving skills
*Prior transportation experience required
