    Job Description:

    Freight Controller

    Join ESAB Budapest Shared Service Center (SSC) and help us manage and improve European freight operations! You'll work with international teams, drive logistics projects, and ensure world-class service for our customers.

    What You'll Do

    • Control and analyze inbound & outbound freight costs
    • Monitor and report freight KPIs (Safety, Delivery, Quality, Cost)
    • Handle claims reporting and help minimize damages
    • Build strong relationships with 3PL & 4PL providers
    • Support internal teams with transportation and logistics topics
    • Drive continuous improvement projects and cost optimization
    • Ensure compliance with relevant transport regulations

    What We're Looking For

    • Relevant experience in the field of logistics (warehousing/transportation/planning etc.)
    • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations
    • Excel proficiency and strong numerical skills
    • Knowledge of LEAN or Six Sigma is an advantage
    • Fluent English is required
    • Systems like Medius, Roseta, M3 - no prior experience needed, training provided
    • Financial background or knowledge is a plus
    • Advantage: previous experience as a Freight Controller or in handling and reporting freight claims
