What You'll Do as a Freezer Technician – 1st Shift:- Oversee product flow into the blast freezer and coordinate products after baking
- Maintain accurate freezer inventory, WIP counts, mini counts, and required production paperwork
- Organize freezer areas while following allergen segregation, food safety, and GMP standards
- Assist with de-panning products and support production lines as needed
- Maintain clean, safe, sanitary, and organized freezer and waste tote areas
- Monitor and report ice buildup and assist with raw material, cardboard, and freezer inventories
- Help coordinate tasks and product transitions to keep production running smoothly
What You Need to Bring to the Freezer Technician – 1st Shift Role:- 6 months to 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods in a fast-paced food production environment
- Ability to frequently lift 21-50 pounds and lift 51-100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to safely maneuver a manual hand jack loaded with approximately 1,100-1,300 pounds of product in close quarters
- Ability to work in changing factory temperatures and around common food allergens, including milk, soy, wheat, eggs, tree nuts, and peanuts
- Ability to follow safety, quality, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements
- Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions
