Description

We’re seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to assess supplier capabilities, evaluate manufacturing processes, and drive improvements that strengthen quality and production readiness. You’ll work directly with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to identify risks, investigate root causes, and communicate clear, actionable findings.


Key responsibilities


  • Conduct supplier capacity audits and production capacity assessments.
  • Audit manufacturing processes, including metal injection molding and related production operations.
  • Evaluate production tooling, injection molding equipment, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Review quality systems, technical documentation, and inspection and measurement methods.
  • Perform risk assessments and root-cause analysis; recommend and track corrective actions.
  • Support supplier quality management and continuous process improvement.
  • Prepare clear reports and communicate findings.
Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing audits, production capacity assessments, or industrial process auditing.
  • Familiarity with production tooling, injection molding equipment, metal injection molding processes, manufacturing equipment, and inspection and measurement tools.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
