Job Summary (Senior Software Engineer in Test Fidelity Institutional Digital Solutions):
- Serve as the team's test automation lead, ensuring high application quality.
- Develop and execute automated functional and regression test suites.
- Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java/JEE, JavaScript, Selenium, and Cucumber BDD.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing, including behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Perform service/API testing using tools such as Karate, RESTAssured, SOATest, or SoapUI.
- Utilize Oracle SQL for backend data validation.
- Implement and manage continuous integration processes using Jenkins, Maven, Git/Stash, etc.
- Leverage Atlassian tools (Jira, Stash, Confluence) for project and test management.
- Collaborate closely with analysts and developers to create and document technical designs for test automation.
- Develop test automation strategies and roadmaps, present them to management, and lead implementation efforts.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as story grooming, sprint planning, and test coverage reviews.
- Provide end-to-end automation solutions, including front-end, middle-tier services, and back-end data providers.
- Document, maintain, and monitor software defects and issues.
- Mentor and lead automation initiatives within the team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies relevant to test automation.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a dynamic, senior engineering team.
- Break down complex business requirements, recommend solutions, and support project leaders and business partners.
