Job Opening Details: If our mission statement piques your interest, we encourage you to apply for the currently open position of Fraud Investigator to work Monday - Friday at our Ogden Branch located at 2605 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT. The Fraud Investigator is responsible for detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activity across bank products and services. This role analyzes data to identify suspicious patterns to mitigates financial loss in order to protect clients and the institution. The position requires strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and a working understanding of banking regulations and financial‑crime statutes. The Fraud Analyst conducts independent investigations, performs interviews, and communicates findings to internal partners, external agencies, and, when necessary, the courts. As a subject matter expert, the Fraud Analyst stays current on fraud trends, schemes, and prevention techniques, and may assist in training bank staff and educating members of the public on common fraud risks. A motivated and driven mindset is essential to proactively protect the bank, its customers, and its reputation from fraudulent activity. Analyzes suspicious transactions and associated account histories to identify money laundering or other suspicious/non-compliant behavior. Alerts management and institutional AML, Fraud, or Compliance committees of transactions and accounts that warrant further review; assists in investigations and preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). Ensures compliance with associated regulations or legislation, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the USA PATRIOT Act. Qualifications:
