Description

Location: Glendale

Title: Fraud Analyst

Reason for temp: Vacancy

Work schedule: M-F, 9am-6pm

Duration: 6 months, possible t-h

Hours a week they will work: 40

-Review and analyze Verafin fraud alerts to identify and mitigate potential fraud activity
-Conduct fraud detection and prevention analysis across various channels
-Investigate suspicious transactions and escalate as necessary
-Utilize sound judgment to assess risk and recommend appropriate actions
-Support fraud mitigation efforts related to account takeover and payment channels

Required Qualifications

-Strong understanding of Breach of Warranty (checks)
-Working knowledge of ACH, wire transfers, bill pay, and ATM transactions
-Experience identifying and investigating account takeover fraud

Preferred Qualifications

-Minimum of 3 years of experience in fraud prevention, loss prevention, or investigations
-Professional certifications such as ACAMS, CFE, CAFS, or similar
-Experience working with Verafin
-Background in a credit union or financial institution back office environment

Assignment Details

Duration: 6 months
Potential for temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs
Pay Rate: $30-$35
