Job SpecificationODC Construction, LLC – www.odcbuilds.comTitle: Framing Construction Crew LeaderLocation: Field, West FLFLSA Status: Non-ExemptSummary: ODC Construction is seeking a Framing Construction Crew Leader to lead and manage a team of framing professionals on-site. This role is essential in ensuring the successful completion of framing projects, meeting quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on framing experience, and the ability to motivate and direct a crew to achieve optimal results.Reports to: Director of ConstructionResponsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead and manage the daily activities of the framing crew to ensure efficient, safe, and quality-driven construction work.Oversee the execution of framing tasks, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines.Delegate tasks effectively and ensure each team member understands their responsibilities.Monitor crew performance and provide guidance and support to improve skills and productivity.Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure the team adheres to OSHA and company safety standards.Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues to keep the project on schedule and within budget.Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with overall project goals.Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets company and regulatory standards.Maintain communication with the project manager regarding crew progress, material needs, and potential delays.Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials, promoting efficiency and minimizing waste.Foster a positive, cooperative work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Qualifications/Requirements: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Effective team player with a collaborative mindset.Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and time management skillsTechnologically proficientHigh level of accuracy in data entry and reportingClear, professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal teamsPhysical and Work Environment Requirements:Tasks may include standing, walking, bending, and carrying up to 50 lbs., with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.This position requires the ability to work outdoors for extended periods in a variety of weather conditions, with or without a reasonable accommodation.  Excellent benefits package, including:Competitive hourly rate with overtime opportunitiesHealth Insurance - Medical, Dental and Vision401k with a generous company matchPaid time off (PTO) & Company-paid Holidays
