This position is in-office, with flexibility to work remotely as business needs support.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Possession of a bachelor¿s degree from an accredited college or university and experience equivalent to four years of full-time professional educational, instructional or supervisory/administrative work.

Substitution of Graduate Education for Experience: Graduate coursework from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two years.

OR

One year of experience as an Education Consultant 1 or School Nutrition Consultant with the State of Tennessee.

Necessary Special Qualifications: Applicants for this class may be required to:

  • Possess a valid driver¿s license.

Examination Method: Education and Experience, 100%, for Preferred Service positions. For Executive Service positions, Minimum Qualifications, Necessary Special Qualifications, and Examination Method are determined by the appointing authority.

Overview

The Federal Programs and Oversight e-Grants System Specialist liaises with the vendor and department stakeholders.

Responsibilities

This work supports all students across Tennessee, especially vulnerable subgroups, in receiving the funding and resources needed for success, while also ensuring that ePlan components including Funding Applications, Data & Information Tools, Monitoring Instruments, and posted documents and other resources are developed, maintained effectively, and delivered in a timely manner.

The FPO e-Grants System Specialist will also manage FPO contracts.
