Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced FPGA Development Engineer with experience in real-time embedded systems development to lead requirements, design and development activities of safety-critical airborne systems.
The ideal candidate will be capable of receiving systems requirements and able to guide the development lifecycles to satisfy DO-254 objectives. This individual will provide technical leadership across development activities as well as provide input to certification and verification teams.
This role can be onsite (CT), hybrid, or fully remote.

Qualifications
Bachelor''s or degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering, science, or technical discipline.
Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in FPGA, programmable logic, digital hardware, or embedded systems development.
Strong understanding of:
Embedded hardware architectures and development processes
COTS IP selection and associated analyses
Safety-critical hardware development
Systems engineering processes
VHDL, Verilog and SystemVerilog or similar hardware design languages
Python and other equivalent scripting languages
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation skills.
Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
U.S. Citizenship is required. Dual citizenship should be disclosed.
Able to travel approximately up to four weeks in a year.
