Description
A tech services organization in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Finance professional to join their team in the Greater Knoxville area as an FP&A Manager.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Lead FP&A activities for assigned factory and functional areas
- Deliver monthly financial analysis, including trends in performance, spending, manufacturing variances, profitability, and product mix
- Develop labor and overhead rates and monitor manufacturing efficiencies
- Manage the P&L, including revenue recognition, and participate in month-end close activities
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial models, executive materials, and ad hoc analyses
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Strong understanding of Cost Accounting and Manufacturing variances
- Experience with SAP or other ERP and planning systems
- Intermediate proficiency in AI tools to improve efficiency
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to articulate the three financial statements
- Strong attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- MBA, CPA, or CMA.
- Power BI or other Advanced Data Analytics tools
