    Summary

The FP&A Analytics, Team Lead brings together finance, data, and leadership. This person will lead advanced analytics for the finance department, take ownership of reporting automation, and coach a small team of analysts. The role calls for someone who is just as comfortable writing SQL and building Alteryx workflows as working through financial data and how the bank makes money. You'll join a team with deep knowledge of the bank's systems and processes and become its go-to technical lead for complex analytics.

    Job Description

As FP&A Analytics, Team Lead, you'll support the controller group, Corporate Treasury, and the lines of business by producing the analysis and reporting behind major financial decisions. Much of the team's work goes below the general ledger, using customer-level data to understand cost, profitability, and performance. You'll take over the team's Alteryx workflows right away and use SQL, Power BI, R, and Python to automate and improve reporting. When leaders bring complex business questions, you'll design the models and analysis to answer them and share your findings with senior and executive leadership. You'll also lead a team of analysts, setting priorities, checking the quality of their work, and helping them build their technical and financial skills.

    Team Culture

You'll join a collaborative finance team that works closely with partners across the bank, especially Corporate Treasury and the lines of business. The team knows the bank's financial systems and processes well and is looking for a strong technical leader to take its analytics further. It values precision, curiosity, and continuous improvement, and you'll be trusted to bring new tools and analytical approaches to how the work gets done. At BOK Financial, we invest in our people, support professional growth, and help employees build long, rewarding careers.

    How You'll Spend Your Time

    • Own the team's Alteryx processes and reporting automation, improving efficiency and accuracy across finance reporting.
    • Build analysis and reporting with SQL, Power BI, R, and Python to answer complex questions about cost, profitability, and performance.
    • Partner with the controller group, Corporate Treasury, and the lines of business to define needs, set timelines, and deliver insights.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior and executive leadership in a clear, concise way.
    • Lead a team of analysts by setting priorities, balancing workloads, and coaching their technical and financial growth.

    Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a master's degree in business administration, Data Analytics/Science, Finance, Accounting or a related field and a minimum of 5-7 years of directly related experience in project management/business analytics management or equivalent combination of education and experience. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.

    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to independently solve complex problems and identify solutions
    • Advanced understanding of financial and data analysis best practices, including knowledge of management information systems
    • Familiarity with R, Visual Basic, SQL, and/or Alteryx.
    • Working knowledge of the principles and application of statistics
    • Solid interpersonal skills including proficient oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare concise executive reports for senior management and to deliver persuasive oral and written arguments to senior management
    • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with strong aptitude to collect and analyze information and make appropriate recommendations to senior leaders in a timely fashion
    • Resourceful and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple assignments
    • Working knowledge of relational databases
