Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to support financial reporting, analysis, and business decision-making within a manufacturing environment. The ideal FP&A Analyst will have a strong accounting foundation and the ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful business insights.
Key Responsibilities of FP&A Analyst
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and monthly financial reports.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Income Statements and Balance Sheets.
- Analyze financial data, trends, and variances, including the impact of price increases.
- Support the monthly close and reporting process.
- Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries.
- Partner with accounting, finance, and operations teams to explain financial results and variances.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and other FP&A activities as needed.
Required Qualifications of FP&A Analyst
- Previous experience as an FP&A Analyst, Financial Analyst, Accountant, or similar role.
- Manufacturing industry experience is required.
- Accounting background required; finance candidates may be considered if they have strong accounting knowledge.
- Strong understanding of debits and credits, financial statements, and accounting fundamentals.
- Experience with monthly reporting and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
